Gone are the days when every new video game would cost just $50 on release day. Most new Xbox and Playstation games cost $70, with some special editions reaching the triple digits, which means shopping video game sales has become ever more crucial.
Here are the best deals you can find on games, consoles, controllers, and accessories right now.
Nintendo celebrates Mar10 Day this month
Nintendo celebrates the Mario franchise every year on March 10 with MAR10 Day. There are different types of special deals and promotions it releases on the days leading up to March 10 and a few days beyond. Right now, they are offering free Nintendo Switch Online trials, but definitely expect more deals to come. Other companies also like to piggyback on the Mar10 celebration; most notably right now is Verizonโs killer deal for new home internet subscribers who get a free Nintendo Switch and a $200 gift card from Target. Here are some other Nintendo deals you can find right now:
Xbox consoles and controllers
If you werenโt able to get the Diablo IV Xbox Series X bundle for $450 on Black Friday, Walmart is having a similar sale right now: You can get the bundle for $457 (originally $559.99) with free shipping. Microsoft is also having a sale on its Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers, which you can get for $44 dollars off. Walmart also has the Xbox Series S bundle with two wireless controllers and three months of Game Pass for $349 (save $29).
PlayStation deals
If you haven’t heard, the PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 Bundle and Call of Duty Modern Warfare III Bundle are both down to their lowest prices yet. You can get the bundle for $449.99, a $50 discount from its original price of $499.99. Sony also released a new bundle for the PS5 Slim Digital with Spider-Man 2 for $399.99. If you want to take your PlayStation games on the go, the Backbone One lets you snap your phone on its device so you get the comfort of an actual gaming controller instead of fiddling with a touchscreen. Both the standard and PlayStation controllers are currently available for $69.99 (originally $99.99).
