In celebration of we_coded and IWD happening last Friday, I thought it would be fun to the spotlight on the many different women singers and musicians out there creating good music. Whether you’re drawn to the pop divas of the world or the indie queens of the underground or those classically-trained instrumentalists — I wanna hear who your favorite women in music are! And by the way, no narrow definition of women here — trans women are most certainly welcome and encouraged to be shared. Of course, as always, feel free to step outside the recommended guidelines to show us something else you something enjoy listening to.
How we do
In this weekly series, folks can chime in and drop links to whatever it is they’ve been listening to recently + browse others’ suggestions. You can follow the suggested genre if you’d like, but don’t feel confined to it; you’re free to suggest whatever you wanna.
